Alia is an internationally qualified holistic skin and massage therapist with over twenty years of industry experience. Her extensive career includes managing top clinics across Australasia and working on board a luxury cruise ship in the Bahamas. In New Zealand, she owned and operated a successful corneotherapeutic skin and massage therapy clinic for several years. After relocating to Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2019, Alia transitioned to a role as a cosmetic ingredient writer for an American skincare company before settling in Hong Kong. While completing her Advanced Diploma in Health Science (Naturopathy and Nutrition), she developed a keen interest in the lymphatic system and its major role in our overall health.
Alia pursued further education in clinical manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) through Vodder International and attended a specialised lymphatics course at the Lymphatic Wellness Academy in Melbourne, led by the esteemed practitioner Bee Czarnota. With a keen interest in women’s health, Alia creates personalised lymphatic and massage treatments that integrate Vodder techniques with other European approaches, enhancing her clients’ overall well-being. Her therapies have been shown to improve sleep quality, reduce inflammation, and strengthen skin barrier health.
Alia’s lymphatic body treatments promote detoxification, relieve stress, and support hormonal balance. As a result, they are particularly beneficial for women experiencing common symptoms related to PMS, perimenopause, and menopause, as well as those seeking additional support on their fertility journey. Lymphatic treatments can also alleviate fluid retention and mitigate the effects of jet lag after long-haul flights. Because of their many health benefits, these treatments make an excellent addition to a regimen aimed at enhancing overall health. Alia also offers prenatal, postpartum, Swedish, and trigger point aromatherapy massage with a focus on nervous system support.
Alia enjoys traveling, cooking nutritious meals, and exploring nature with her two rescue dogs, Lucy and Henry. She is also dedicated to ongoing education in health-related courses, continually updating her knowledge to provide her clients with the latest insights for their wellness.
